Barre & Becoming

Selah Ink co Presents: Barre & Becoming

The First Gathering of Daughters of Zion

Barre & Becoming is an intimate, invite-only gathering created for women in the creative community — the first edition of Daughters of Zion, a new series under Selah dedicated to bringing women back to the heart of their Creator.

At its essence, this evening is about returning to daughterhood.

In a world where creatives are constantly producing, performing, and building, this night is an invitation to slow down and remember who we are before the work, before the platforms, before the expectations — daughters of the Lord.

Through movement, conversation, and shared experience, Barre & Becoming invites women to reconnect with joy, creativity, and the quiet grace of becoming. The evening is designed to feel playful, elegant, and freeing — a space where women can embrace the softness of their inner child, move with confidence and grace, and simply exist as daughters in God's presence.

But it is also a moment of realignment.

As creatives, our gifts were never meant to exist apart from the One who gave them. Part of this gathering is about remembering how to steward those gifts — our creativity, influence, and artistry — in ways that ultimately glorify God and serve His kingdom.

This is not just an event.

It’s a carefully curated evening designed to refresh, inspire, and pour back into the women who are constantly pouring out.

What the Evening Will Look Like

The evening will unfold in a series of intentional moments designed to feel both inspiring and restorative.

Ballet Experience

Guests will take part in a beginner-friendly ballet session, beginning with foundational movements at the barre and leading into learning a short, graceful piece of choreography. This portion is designed to help women reconnect with movement in a way that feels elegant, freeing, and playful — embracing the beauty of expression through dance.

Guest Speaker + Creative Conversation

A special guest speaker from the creative industry will share a reflection on faith, creativity, and stewarding our gifts well. This will be followed by a short Q&A, giving attendees the opportunity to ask questions and gain insight on navigating creativity while keeping Christ at the center.

Community & Connection

Guests will have time to connect with other women in the room — creators, artists, and visionaries who share a heart for faith, beauty, and meaningful work.

Creative Exploration & Content Time

Intentional time will also be set aside for guests to capture content and explore their creativity within the space. Whether through photography, video, or collaboration, attendees will be encouraged to use their gifts and perspectives to document the evening in their own unique way.

What to Expect

This evening has been thoughtfully curated to feel elevated, inspiring, and memorable. Guests can expect:

• A beginner-friendly ballet class + choreography

• A guest speaker with experience in the creative industry

• A live Q&A conversation on faith and creativity

• Time for community and meaningful connection

• Dedicated content and creative exploration moments

• Light refreshments and beverages

• Brand partners and sponsors (to be announced)

• Exclusive gifts for guests

• A Selah giveaway, including The Seven Minute Sanctuary journal

Each element of the night is designed to create an atmosphere that feels intentional, inspiring, and deeply refreshing for the women attending.

Content Participation

Because this gathering is intentionally curated for creatives, attendees will be expected to share moments from the evening through their platforms.

Guests will be asked to capture and post Instagram Stories as well as one Reel or TikTok reflecting their experience at the event, tagging Selah Ink Co. and event partners. This allows the beauty and impact of the evening to extend beyond the room and reach other women who may be inspired by it.
